OUR BELIEFS
At Fresh Fire Worship Center, we're a five-fold ministry, rooted in Ephesians 4:11, refers to the belief that God gifts certain individuals with the roles of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher to equip the church for ministry.
Shawn Borton – Board Member
Shawn Borton is a dedicated servant-leader and valued member of the Fresh Fire Worship Center Board. Known for his integrity, wisdom, and heart for people, Shawn brings strong leadership and practical insight to the vision and direction of the ministry. His commitment to excellence and his passion for seeing lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit make him a vital part of the Fresh Fire family.
With a background in both ministry and business, Shawn bridges faith and everyday life—helping to ensure that Fresh Fire Worship Center continues to grow with stability, accountability, and purpose. He believes that true leadership begins with service, and he leads by example through his faith, humility, and unwavering dedication to the Kingdom of God.
Lindsey Borton – Children’s Pastor
Pastor Lindsey Borton serves as the Children’s Pastor at Fresh Fire Worship Center, where her passion for teaching and nurturing young hearts shines brightly. With a deep love for God’s Word and a creative spirit, she leads our children’s ministry with energy, compassion, and purpose—creating an atmosphere where kids can experience Jesus in a real and powerful way.
Lindsey believes that investing in the next generation is one of the greatest callings of the church. Through interactive lessons, worship, and hands-on activities, she helps children grow in faith, develop godly character, and understand that they are loved and chosen by God. Her joy, patience, and commitment to excellence inspire both kids and parents alike.
